An expatriate Scot, Bob McNeill is one of New Zealand's top singer-songwriters and one of the country's best known folk performers for his work solo and with Ben the Hoose. He has three New Zealand Music Awards, all for Best Folk Album (2001 for Covenant, 2004 for Turn the Diesels and 2006 for Ben the Hoose's debut album The Little Cascade).
McNeill's musical and songwriting style is a hybrid of the Celtic music of his native Scotland and the American New Folk style, and is strongly influenced by writers like Richard Shindell, John Gorka, Mark Knopfler, Bruce Springsteen, Dar Williams and Jeffrey Foucault.
Mike Considine is living in Kinvara and his discography includes two award winning NZ Folk Music Awards. Along with Bob's three, the pair have duo-handedly reached the top of the NZ folk scene.
Mike has toured and played with some of Ireland's finest musicians including John Carty, Liz Doherty, Dermot Byrne, Alan Kelly, Brian McGrath, Tommy Peoples and Brendan Larrissey.
